- Chacha is made from grape mash, following the ancient traditional Georgian method, which originated from Kakheti region.
- During the winter, grape mash is stored in “Qvevri” – a ceramic amphora buried under the ground, after which it is distilled in copper vessels.
- After the distillation, Chacha is aged together with freshly picked tarragon leaves for six months giving the beverage natural greenish coloring and aroma of Georgian greens
